This application is dedicated to riparian wildlife commonly found along the streams of the Flathead Indian Reservation in western Montana. The diverse range of species covered includes fish, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and birds. Each species profile showcases detailed photos highlighting identifying features, a thorough description of the animal, its conservation status, sensitivity to climate change, and a distribution map. Furthermore, the mammals section includes a track guide for identification purposes, supplemented with audio recordings of their distinct sounds. The bird species listings incorporate songs and calls for a comprehensive experience. Additionally, users can hear the Salish and Kootenai names for each animal through interactive audio buttons.
